During the last 24 years, I have opened my home to many monkeys. Some of them have come with really wonderful personalities and great behaviors but then there have been some that have not had many good qualities at all!
In 2007, three of our very special “Star Performing Monkeys” died, and I found myself in need of adding a new monkey to be in the show. My heart was totally broken. So one day suddenly it came to me what I should do. I said to my husband, Bob, “Maybe the best thing to do is to get a baby monkey.” In just a few weeks, Silly Willy came to live with us. I loved him instantly and I was very excited about him being the new “Star Of The Show.” Soon after he came, I began thinking about all of the other monkeys that had been with me. I wanted to help Silly Willy be the best that he could be, so I started picking the qualities I liked most from all of the other monkeys who had been in my life. |

That was when I began writing the series of books: “Living With Monkeys.”
“The Baby Book” was written while I was raising my little guy, Silly Willy. It is full of wonderful information about what it takes to raise a monkey in captivity. It has lots of monkey care information, monkey stories, monkey photos, and of course, many facts about monkeys too.
This book could be very helpful to many different people, especially if you are seriously contemplating becoming a monkey owner or caregiver. You might like this book because you are interested in reading about people, who are raising pet monkeys in their homes, or it might be you need some help with your own baby monkey.
